Did you know a child dies every 6 seconds? The other paragraphs will tell you about how powerless and desperate hunger can make others in the world. Others in different countries are suffering from poverty, malnutrition, and hunger. Malnutrition is when the body doesn't get the correct to do normal bodily functions and live a normal, active life. Half of child deaths are caused by hunger.
So many children and adults go to bed hungry, 48.1 million to be exact. Hunger is a very deadly condition. Hunger kills 21,000 children each day, not counting adults. 805 million people are hungry currently in the world.
Hungry people are trapped in poverty because they make $1.25 a day. Hunger can cause malnutrition. Malnutrition is the cause of half child deaths. Some of the symptoms for malnutrition are loss of muscle, muscle weakness and slow growth.
1.2 billion people don't eat enough. Mostly it's children because there parents are poor. We will stop hunger by growing more crops. We will ship crops and clothing to hungry people.
So that is how we will help stop hunger. We will grow food and ship it to other hungry families and countries. Will you help stop hunger?
